 2. Disproportionate Growth of Muscles

When people choose to resistance-exercise in the gym regularly, we should expect their muscles to increase proportionately. However, if people engage in steroids, then, their muscles start developing disproportionately.
As a general rule, when people choose to use steroids, muscles on the upper part of the body (including traps, shoulders, neck, lats, peck and back), become proportionately bigger compared to muscles on the lower parts of the body. The reason why the upper body muscles grow faster is because the parts have more androgen receptors and respond almost instantly to resistance training. This is why steroid users’ shoulder muscles explode quite fast after a few days of steroids use. Certainly, lower parts of the body, including legs and torso muscles, also grow but at a painfully slower pace.
